    About the Speaker
    Mogens Lauritzen
    Mogens Lauritzen founded Lauritzen Inc more than 25 years ago to focus on solar energy. Today, Lauritzen Inc has delivered more than 6,000 control systems for solar trackers globally. Prior to that, he was a manager and consultant at Silicon Valley companies designing microprocessors. Mogens holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and is the holder of three US patents.

    Traditional Celebration Lunch Menu:

    Since this year’s 17th of May celebration falls on a Sunday, the event will also be open to children. In keeping with Norwegian tradition, kids will be served hot dogs and ice cream. In Norway, the 17th of May is often called Barnas Dag— the Children's Day — and we look forward to honoring this special tradition.
