Family Christmas Kransekake Baking & Fundraiser Event
Kransekake Towers have graced holiday tables in Norway for more than two centuries. This delicious tradition is not just a sugary treat, but a wonderful part of our shared heritage. Almonds, sugar and egg whites is all it takes to make a Norwegian Kransekake, oh,... and you!
The joy of making them is only matched by the joy of sharing them! They make great gifts and we'll show you how to make them!!
Come enjoy this fun tradition and pass it on to the next generation! Imagine the Hygge of Christmas decorations at the club, Christmas songs, and the warmth that only baking gives us! We will provide the mixers and ingredients to make the dough, the icing, ring-forms and the oven to bake them in!
We invite each person or family to make a Kransekake for themselves and hopefully a couple more that Donors can receive as in thanks for donations ( $130 each is suggested) to raise money for our building fund. Please feel free to volunteer to help prepare and run the event.
