A relaxing evening at the Norwegian Club for the Gentlemen to enjoy the comaraderie of good friends and reflect on the legends and lore of 
Norwegian, John A. "Snowshoe" Thompson (Jon A. Torstenson-Rue) "Mailman of the Sierra".

Born in 1827 at Telemark, Norway & emigrated to America in 1837.  Snowshoe Thompson carried the mail between Placerville CA and Genoa NV between 1856 & 1876 traversing the mighty Sierras on a pair of homemade long skis carrying a mail bag of 50-100 pounds strapped to his back.
NCSF Member, Erik "The Red" Braa, will MC the event for a second year...following his memorable performance in 2017!
